Early Housing Assistance
At Collège de la Concorde, we understand that your journey as an international student is a significant step toward your academic and personal growth. We are committed to ensuring that your arrival in Montreal goes as smoothly and comfortably as possible. We recommend that, once you have obtained your visa, you notify your admissions counselor at least 3 weeks before your arrival. This crucial step allows us to organize everything so that your arrival goes smoothly.
A Variety of Housing Options
We take pride in offering a range of housing alternatives to cater to your unique preferences and needs. Our options include:
- Furnished apartments: Live independently in a fully furnished apartment equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
- Studios: Enjoy the privacy and convenience of your own space in a well-designed studio.
- Student residences: Immerse yourself in a dynamic student community by residing in student residences ideally located in Montreal.
Feel free to contact your admissions counselor for additional assistance or to discuss your housing preferences. The fee for this service is $750.
Arrival at the Airport
To make your arrival at the airport hassle-free, we offer airport assistance services. Simply inform your admissions counselor of your arrival date at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure that your shuttle arrives safely. The fee for this service is $200.
Bank Account
Upon your arrival, it is imperative to open a bank account to facilitate all your financial transactions. You can visit a bank located near the College (TD Canada, Scotiabank, RBC) to complete this process. To open an account, it is essential that you present your passport, as well as your student ID card.
Driver's License
You have the option to drive during the duration of your studies with a foreign driver’s license, provided it is valid. If your driver’s license is not in English or French, we recommend obtaining an international driver’s license in the country where you obtained it to ensure its validity.
